About Burke Mountain
Many of the homes are on the greenbelt, making Burke Mountain a hub spot for nature-lovers and hikers. There are a variety of hiking trails and biking trails in the neighbourhood and Minnekhada Regional Park nearby. The newer detached homes typically consist of a smaller lot, with a large interior square footage space, and the town homes typically range from 1200-1500 square feet for a 3 bedroom and 1600-2400 square feet for a 4 bedroom (interior space).
A fast-growing subarea, there are a number of amenities, schools, bus routes, and community centres in the works, in addition to those that are already in place. The neighbourhood is just a short drive or direct bus ride to the new Evergreen Skytrain extension that takes you right in to surrounding cities and Metro Vancouver.
